I/Charlie write to express my excitement about receiving the Bike Law Louisiana torch that Beaux Jones has recently passed to me. Beaux has done a superb job of advocating for Bike Law’s causes in the past. Accordingly, Bike Law Louisiana will be forever grateful for Beaux’s energetic involvement in the cycling community and passion for safer cycling. I will carry the mission forward by actively advocating for mutual courtesy and respect between cyclists and motorists among the numerous other ways that bicycling safety may be improved. On behalf of the Bike Law community, I wanted to thank Beaux for his valiant efforts and also share my enthusiasm for being able to continue on this journey.

Having served as the president of the Texas A&M Cycling Team, where he led the team in appearances in the U.S. Collegiate National Championships, Charlie has spent thousands of hours riding his bicycle in Texas.
