Denver really wants to be a great city for bicycles, and is getting better all the time. Groups like Bike Denver, Bicycle Colorado, and Team Evergreen are working with the Mayor’s office

Teamwork on the bike and on a case
Teamwork is the fuel that spins the cyclist’s wheels ever faster. The peloton will always be faster than a single rider. A break with numbers is more likely to succeed than a solo effort. And an individual time trial will never be as fast as a team time trial with each teammate contributing an equal

Bike Lanes: not always safe
Colorado Bicycle Accident Lawyer Brian Weiss reminds us to stay alert. Bike lanes are not necessarily a safe zone for bike riders, especially when poorly designed. When riding in bike lanes, do not let your guard down. As cyclists, we face drivers pulling into parking spaces next to bike lanes and opening their doors without

Denver’s One “Protected” Bicycle Lane?
After my Bike Law blog post last week about protected bike lanes in Vancouver, I was very happy to see a news article announcing Denver’s first “protected” bike lane along 15th St. through the downtown corridor. That excitement was short lived. Promoted as a separate lane which is “protected” from traffic by white posts, I was a little
